Turn stranded gas into bitcoin. Keep the genset alive doing it.
One sealed box between your genset and your miners. It balances phases, sheds load before the engine starves, and halts the fleet when mining stops paying — automatically, around the clock, without a person on site.
13:58 L2 dropout ×2 → paused 1 miner each on L1/L3
12:00 MN derate cleared — cap restored to 461 kW
06:15 backup battery self-test — OK
One flow, wellhead to wallet.
Everything upstream already exists on your lease. The controller and the Gas Analyzer are the only two boxes wellpad.ai adds to a flow that ends in hashrate.
The genset is the business. The controller protects it.
Miners are single-phase loads on a three-phase machine. Gas declines, slugs, and chokes. Hashprice crashes. Every one of these kills margins or engines when nobody is watching — and nobody is watching a wellsite at 3 AM.
3-phase load balancing
Reads per-phase kW from the genset controller. When miners drop on one phase, it pauses miners on the others to restore balance — then restores them when the fleet recovers. No relays, no power cycling.
Predictive load shed
A pressure sensor on the gas inlet sees line-pressure droop before the engine starves. The controller sheds miners ahead of the stall, not after the frequency dips.
Gas-quality derate
Pair with the wellpad.ai Gas Analyzer and the controller derates capacity as methane number falls — shedding load before knock, restoring as the slug passes.
Economic dispatch
Live hashprice vs. your gas price. When mining drops below breakeven the fleet halts; it restarts at breakeven +10% so it never flaps. Flare-gas sites set gas cost to zero and run always-on.
No screen. Your screen.
Scan the QR on the lid, join the controller's WiFi, get the full dashboard on your phone. Cloud alerts page you before downtime does. One guarded button on the box: safe mode.
Bulletproof hardware
Industrial-grade compute, sealed enclosure rated for the container wall, dedicated backup battery with monthly self-test. Consumables are auto-parts-store SKUs.
3 AM. Two miners fault on L2.
The genset is now lopsided — L1 and L3 loaded, L2 light. Imbalance heats windings and wastes fuel. Within seconds the controller pauses one miner each on L1 and L3. The genset settles. When the L2 miners come back, everything restores automatically.
You find out from a push notification over coffee — not from a dead genset on Saturday.
